Qualifications and experience

Pearson Franchise Consultants Limited blends higher education, extensive experience, and knowledge from an international network of franchise specialists, to provide sound, practical, expert and professional services to prospective and exisiting franchisors.

David Pearson holds a BCA, CA (Chartered Accountant) and a Diploma in Marketing from Victoria University. Complementing these qualifications, David has more than 20 years experience operating as a Chartered Accountant. This included working for Price Waterhouse (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) before establishing his own chartered accountancy practice.

Established in 1990, Pearson Franchise Consultants Limited also benefits from Davids regular contact with mentors who work in franchising in the UK, USA and Australia. He also has close ties with the Franchise Association of New Zealand, acting as the Association's representative in Wellington. He was appointed to the Board of the Association in April 2000.
